They are a lot of fun. And fun to shoot as well...

Good ones, ya'll. I like your natural (resources) shot, Stina, there's not much falling water around here.

Aged and rotting, waiting to add their wisdom to the loam.

Looks like an interesting place to visit Stina.

One leaf appears to be reluctant to contribute its wisdom darkslinger.

Thanks. I was surprised to see the reservoir full and truly enjoyed spending the day next to water.

OldCrow, for some reason your shot of the leaf makes me think of either a lightning bolt or either nerve synapses (for some reason  ). Nice image.

A couple thoughts as we're nearing the end of the month....

Next month's topic chooser (philk54) hasn't been super active in the thread lately, in fact he hasn't posted anything in here since April 1. Nothing wrong with that really, but my point is that I wouldn't be shocked if when the first of the month (Monday) rolls around he hasn't posted a list of topics for us. Just for everyone's fyi, I have a list of topics prepared for just such an emergency and if we haven't heard from philk54 by Monday morning I'll step in and pinch hit for him. And I think that will pretty much be the standard operating procedure whenever/if-ever that happens, or if there's ever a month that rolls around without a volunteer topic-picker.

Of course, there's always the chance that philk54 is reading this as he was about to post his list and thinking, 'boy that MichiTimm sure is a nipple'. In which case... uh, whoops. Many apologies, but damn man - post more! :D

Also, after philk54 in June and darkslinger for July we're ready for some more topic-pickers.

I'd like to offer first dibs to some of the active participants in the thread who haven't picked yet, then maybe open it up to repeat volunteers?
So...
itsallart?
Benitoite?
InTheSwamp?
Any of y'all up for picking the topics for August, September, or October?
