Ran across town for a quick photo shoot. These were shot around the house. It was her first shoot but I think she did just fine! Enjoy!

A little yellow for my taste, I also notice some banding in the vignette in #2

I've actually been looking into getting a Spyder to calibrate my new 27in IPS monitors because I notice a huge difference when I view my photos on my iPad/iPhone. I see the banding now, too, in the fake vignette. Thanks for the critique.

Yes, single flash, on the camera, bounced backward off the wall/ceiling behind me.

I personally don't think so. They look exactly as I intended them to look.

Nice work. #4 is the winner here. #5 looks a little over exposed.

Nice set. I #4 best as well.
I notice that was shot with your 70-200, which produces a better Image than your 24-70 IMO (As long as you have the room).

I also understand the colour you were going for and I like it - I would not want it any cooler. I think the reason why it might appear yellowish is simply because she is laying on somewhat of a yellow comforter and there is not a huge contrast to her skin tone. Maybe a colour with a bit more contrast to her skin tone would work well. When I kind of shield that away, her skin tones look perfect on my screen.

Anyway... Great job!

Fantastic, as usual with your work! I like 4 the best, 5 the least (though it is still really good).

Yeah the sheets were yellow/golden, so while the white balance for the skin tone was where I wanted it I can see how the overall picture my come off a little warm.

The 70-200 is a great lens, but I really prefer the results I get with the 24-70 II moreso, or maybe equally.

Thanks for all the compliments!

Color balance, like everything in photography, is subjective to the photographer. If this is how you envisioned the shots looking then good job! Personally I like the warm tones. Beautiful model, and beautiful images. What was your light setup, if you don't mind me asking?

You can/could try to pull back the yellow slider...
