Can you guys tell me what the range of the built in WIFI is for the D750? Will it transmit images to my ipad right after shooting so that I may review the results without having to walk back to the camera?

I assume you mean your camera will be on tripod and when you go to the ipad you don't want to walk back to the camera? If so yes you can pull up whatever you want from the camera as long as it is on without going back to it. As for distance I am not sure I tend to only use it sparingly and at close range as it isn't something I use much :( Wish I could be of more help!

Now, as for me and this thread - I don't have much to post as life is busy, just recently received my body back from Tamron as I had them calibrate a lens to my body (awesome fast turnaround btw! and no hassle warranty work!). So don't post much in way of pictures as they are mostly all of my kids and I try to be sparing about their picture posts outside of social media... but I will say that tonight while preparing my camera for dance recital pictures this weekend...

OMG! Why did I NOT turn on wrap around AF points sooner! Totally cool! Also... I might actually start looking for manual focus glass to use! Out of boredom and curiosity flipped my lens to manual focus and started checking to see how fast I could get critical focus on random objects in the room when I noticed how simple the little arrows telling me which way to turn the focus ring was to use... WOW... time to go buy me an M42 or something in vintage Nikon style...

Also the little setting that tells the camera to drain from the grip first instead of the body or vice versa is a nice touch... so many different settings that I am finding a joy to have... need to search them out and sometimes need them translated into laymans terms but I am finding the transition from Canon to Nikon has been getting smoother as time passes!

PS - Finally went to using RAW files full time... and I LOVE IT!

I'm in! So happy to be back in the game. I decided to get the D750 when Amazon mistakenly listed the kit at the body only price (not gray market) so I had to snap on it. So far, very very happy with the results and quality of this package. Already picked up a 50/1.8 and a Tamron 150-600 which will be in tomorrow. I don't usually stick to one "genre" of photography, I like to dabble in it all.

This update cleared a problem I had with rotating an image.
