Fantastic shot! Can you tell me how ACR removed the hot pixels. I experienced it on a 4 minute exposure on my a7R. Frustrating to clone them out.

Thanks. . It just did it... I open the image from Bridge and all of the hot pixels are there at first and then they just dissappear. . I don't know if it's a Canon specific thing or not but it does it automagically for images from both bodies.

They are in Falkirk, Scotland. Here's the website for them http://www.thekelpies.co.uk (external link) . They light up at night but I've not managed to photograph them at night yet

Getting ready for a work trip that will have a little down time...I was looking over images from my trip to Kure Beach last year trying to decide what to shoot this time...found an image I had tagged to edit and never did...
6 minutes...IIRC I had the Big Stopper and 3 Stop on. Longest I have done with the 7D.

I appreciated the irony in your title, Butchie. Considering the number of people that were there in this so-called "secluded" spot.

That turned out extremely well!

Hi Gary, I will definitely be going at night. I've made two attempts before. The first time it was raining too much when I got there and the second time I was setting up my tripod and the lights went off on the horses. So third time lucky hopefully

I put a newly purchased B+W 10 stop filter to use while at the beach the other week, but I have quite a bit to learn.

Awesome photo here Travis.

Thank you.

One from last night, something new I have been fiddling with for a while now and having mixed results...shallow DoF long exposure...sounds kinda silly I know...but I have taken a couple, that I liked...this being one. Shot with the Big Stopper on the 24-70L @ f/2.8...I had left my adapter ring for the 85mm at home!:-x
