I've got a really cheap set of three, not sure what stops, and I use them stacked. Do get a quite a lot of magenta colour cast with the cheapies, which doesn't all always come out with processing. I can't come close to the talent of shots shown in this thread but perhaps I can share a different perspective of what the 70D can do underwater. To answer your question I have two strobes (left and right ) on 24" arms away from the camera acting as key lights and a third strobe fired via optical sensor as a fill light

So now I've done it! I just like playing with different techniques is part of it. Enjoy experimenting with bracketing and HDR as well.
