I admire our willingness to experiment with the ND filters Rose... I have had mine for almost 2 months and have not yet tried my meagre 3 Stop ND..
I've always loved the silky water effect, and also that sort of mist on sea spray which is emphasized by the ten stop. I've got a really cheap set of three, not sure what stops, and I use them stacked. Do get a quite a lot of magenta colour cast with the cheapies, which doesn't all always come out with processing.
An Internet photography friend from the POTN 600D/T3i thread, who I still follow uses the Haida, and much less colour cast. Anyway NZ$200 for one Lee ten stop is way off my budget! Been looking and wanting for years and could never decide which to get
So now I've done it! I just like playing with different techniques is part of it. Enjoy experimenting with bracketing and HDR as well.
I now need a remote or to get the EOS app working so I can time my shots better.
