Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This weeks the theme is Green. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

In recognition of June 1st the theme this week is Green

Here are the rules:
1. Shots need to be taken between Monday Sunset and the following Monday by Sunset (Whenever that is for you ). Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives. Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
2. Post your shots at any time during the week.
3. Post a maximum of two shots if you're uploading them to POTN (i.e., attaching them). You can post more than two if you're linking to shots that are not hosted by POTN (i.e. embedding them), but keep within POTN rules. Also keep within POTN rules about size. A copy of the size rules can be found here: IMAGE POSTING RULES
That's it! Have fun! As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.
An index to previous weeks can be found here: POTN WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK INDEX

That's it! Have fun!

Cool, Renata! I love doing those shot. It's such a neat effect. Well done!

Here are a couple of green things from my garden. A tomato not ready for picking.

Finding something green is harder than I expected. I started with grass. Grass is green, everyone knows that. Currently in California, however, the drought means that the "green" thing to do is to let lawns and sidewalk strips go brown. So this is a miss for green:

Then you'd think a trucking company with a name like this would paint its trucks green, wouldn't you? No deal there, either.

Still trying for green, I noticed the word "GREEN" on the label of a package that UPS brought today.

OhLook, you have inspired me to shoot some tomorrow. Everything here is green, I can't go wrong when my lens clears the door.
You have taken some nice shots but the color " green" is just not showing up for me. Seriously, I'm sorry for your lack of water out there, wish I could send you some. If I take some pics tomorrow it will most likely be overcast or raining but no problem finding green, I'll take that any day over a drought.

That's a nice shot, Renata. Arthur Morris often does zoom blur shots with flocks of birds. Well done.

Good to see you posting, Lisa. I hope you are all better now! I never knew green blueberries would be so pretty!

OhLook, you managed a series that is both rather funny and sad. It's all about "green" and there's none of it to be had. Creative and well done.

Well, I know it might be boring but I'm trying to perfect the technique I have had so much fun with. Love the iridescence of the oil drops. I think I tamed the beast somewhat. At least I can control the size, location etc. Color comes from a CD placed under a glass dish

And another green shot when this furry beauty decided to show up again. I happened to have a super fast lens on because this guy was off in a few seconds. His eyes are truly mesmerizing and green :)

Oh, you did very well considering the circumstances. We have way too much water here, I could send you some. Hopefully you will get some rain soon :)

Sorry about the drought, Oh. Long range forecasts are not promising either, are they? Your red leaves remind me of my Forest Pansy Redbud tree. The leaves start out a beautiful burgundy before eventually turning green.

Steve, most things are green here too. Unlike California, we've already had about 20" of rain here this year.

Love the oil drops Renata. You have that technique down pat! They remind me of cells dividing. :-) And I wondered who would be the first to post a green-eyed kitty pic!

I like that green John. It contrasts nicely with the blue and makes me want to go to the beach!!
