I was wondering if any one would know of a bird song app for Android that's the closest to Birdtunes which is only available for the Iphone? I love the Birdtunes app as it gives numerous bird song samples for each bird and not just one or two and I like to hear the various calls. I recently switched to and Android phone but if worse comes to worse I may have to pick up and older Ipad just so I can get this app if there's no good equivalent available.
Thanks in advance.
Bob

I am enjoying IBird Pro. I use it with my Asus EEpad and Galaxy phone.

I have Merlin Bird ID By Cornell Lab (Free) and Audubon Birds Pro ($3.99). Both have some nice features, but after playing with them for a while I returned to my Perterson's, Kaufman, or Sibley Guides.

Do the above mentioned apps have numerous vocalizations for each bird or just one or two per bird?
Thanks.

IBird Pro has 2-3 calls per bird, depending on the species. Sounds like you may be wanting something more.

Merlin seems to have 1-3 calls per bird. Audubon Pro seems to have a lot more. Just for the American Goldfinch there are 14 voice recordings, but the American Whit Pelican there was only 1, so the results vary.
