Are you closing the disk after burning? I think that has to be done for the CD to be readable on any CR drive.
Yep I always close the disc after burning..

When I read this, my thought is that your are probably creating disks that are both read and write disks. When you do this, the disks don't have to be closed and can be used on different computers. I am thinking that they may work on any Windows machine but may not work on Apples or just some Apple computers. I don't have an Apple computer so I don't know if this is the case but it is possible that is the problem.
If this is the problem use Write only disks and close them out. They used to be cheaper and it is probably best to use them anyway to keep someone from deleting the data by hitting the wrong button.
When I burn the CD's I use it as a USB. I'm going to burn a CD today on my windows and try it on the apple computer to see if it'll work.. If it doesn't I think I'm going to try it on the apple computer and see if it works on my windows..

I would highly recommend ImgBurn. Not only is it free, but you can write cd, dvd, and blu-ray
I will look into this!

Why would you sort and rename images with your burner software? Use Lightroom, Bridge, FastStone, Irfanview, etc.
I just wanted to see if it was an option. I usually just do it in lightroom and my windows, but I think I'll try bridge as well!
