I'm glad you got some good light, and put it to use :) I like the second beach composition with the reflections and light coming through the arch. Some of the darker parts of the shot have areas that are brighter/diffuse. Are those water streaks on your lens or some low fog?

That was after two days of intermittent rain. No, I think it was just the lighting.
