More info | Jun 07, 2015 12:30 | #5162 The Spot Removal couldn't be easier. Select the tool, size your 'brush' and click on the booger. If it makes a poor choice of where it grabs fill-in material, just drag the fill circle to a better spot. You can also try toggling between Clone and Heal to play with the effects to see what works better for a given scenario. Just try - even knowing nothing, it should take all of 60 seconds to magically wipe away the gunk. Bill is my name - I'm the most wanted man on my island, except I'm not on my island, of course. More's the pity.

Jun 07, 2015 16:06 | #5164 You inspired me to do a couple of my next batch B&W, which I hadn't done with cats before. LR6 didn't come with a book; maybe there's a PDF on the disc that I need to look for. I usually dive in without reading a manual anyway, but I'll go thru some tutorials online as I find them when I have the spare time.

Jun 07, 2015 22:18 | #5170 WhyFi wrote in post #17587894 No problem; I know that, even as streamlined as it is, LR can be daunting to the uninitiated to the point that it may be tough to figure out where to start. Sometimes all you need is someone pointing you in the right direction. If you're going to poke around for some tutorial videos, I'd recommend that you check out the stuff by Matt Kloskowski. I don't think that he's with Adobe anymore, but his vids should still be out there. Thanks - I'll look for it.
