Lighting was simple one light and reflector. I wanted to mimic window light so I used a large Elinchrom rotalux octabox with inner baffle and outer diffusion. I added to this the diffusion material of my 7ft Westcott parabolic, double diffusion essentially. I then created a large DIY scrim using some old semi opaque fabric which was clipped to two cheap lightstands and extended high up. A gap of around 2 feet between the softbox and scrim was left, essentially triple diffusion. The opposite side of the model I placed a large piece of foam core on a painters easel for fill.
