Nice shot! I already saw this though...did you post it here or a different thread?

Maybe a different thread. I lose track as I've had a lot of ring reflection shots this season and I can't remember what I've posted where :)

^^^ very well done

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

Some really nice photos in here.

I've only done one wedding so not done any ring shots before, once we found the rings I just sat them on wedding cake as that was next to me at the time seamed like a good idea.
Had a brain fade and was only shooting at 1/15th so quite a few were blured but did get one good'e
Used 40ml pan cake lens

I like this idea but the crop is a little strange. Might be cool as a photo collage with like one closeup and one of the whole head then a closeup of the deer's eye with wedding stuff reflected?

This thread is so good, I feel ring shots are a great barometer of creativity and the best are simply great. The worst are simply awful. I really need to up my game in this area to have something I'm proud to show!
