1949 Chevy

(Edited the year. I misread the license plate. I should have remembered that no new cars were produced during the war years.)

Wow, sharp!
I guess you did some vignette blur there?

I was wondering if that was from the lens or post.

Thanks David and Dean. It's a little of both. I shot this at f1.8 but added a little lens blur in post too. I wanted to knock down the bg a little more and blur out the house number too.

I liked the canvas water bag on the front bumper and you can't really tell but there is also a side window mounted 'swamp cooler'. I remember we had a 1954 Chevy set up like this but it was black.

I almost went this route with this one. :-D

That looks convincingly like a watercolor painting. What application?

Awesome Gene. You could make a metallic print out of this and sell it at hobby lobby lol

Thanks, it reminds me of an ad in "Life" magazine.

Thanks David. The painted look was done mostly through Topaz Impressions and the white painted border is from Alien Skin. On the first edit, I probably should have masked out the blur in the corners of the foreground.

Thanks. I think many of my photos would look better as an illustration than they would as anything realistic

Cool Shot!

We took a border collie in from the streets one day. Super sweet dog, but her herding instincts did not jive well with my son, as she was very good at herding him to the couch, bed...basically did not let his feet touch the ground. We ended up giving her to my mom's co-workers and she's been living the good life ever since!

Thank you! Yeah ours herds too. He has mellowed out a bit. Such smart dogs for sure. Glad yours found a good home. They really do need room to run and explore.
