That's strange, I just tried it out and it didn't happen for me in iPad view. I appreciate the link for the site though, was great to check out!

Well that is strange ... looked again in iPad (all) view and they are definitely touching (just).
It may be a freak combination of that view and my 15.4" laptop screen.
I wouldn't fuss about it. Would be interesting to look at your site on an actual iPad (which I don't have!)
Regards

I have an iPad again as of tomorrow (my girlfriend took it with her traveling) so I can check then and see how it looks.

Maybe it's the screen resolution and browser that affects it, I'm using a 1440p monitor and Chrome. Thanks for checking again for me though, I appreciate it :)

I just checked on the iPad (it's a 3rd gen one, 'The New iPad') and it is certainly close but not touching so not sure why it looks that way for you!

I see it had problems displaying here so re-uploaded and here it is

Sorry but actually it isn't, it is a Wordpress site that's self hosted. It may look similar although I've never actually used Smugmug

Since my original post I completely redesigned the site. I felt like the original gallery style looked nice and less common, although the actual posts didn't display the images nicely and didn't look as professional.

I would appreciate some feedback once again on what people think of the site :D

Did you intend to have your navigation show up like this? If yes I'm not a huge fan of that.
Again, iPad. I haven't checked it on my MacBook.

Hey, thanks for the feedback!

Yes I've noticed that it does that on certain tablet displays, something on my list to fix haha.

Are you referring to the gap between "about" and "portfolio"? If you view it on a browser itsits 2x2 which is why there's the gap.

I find the large rectangles for navigation a bit awkward. I'm not a fan of scrolling to hit main navigation...but that's just me. I suppose it would be useful on a phone that has a very rectangular display.

In that case there is the top navigation bar then? If you hit that then you can get to all those places without having to scroll :D
