Thanks - it always reads that and I have to change it every time for this lens. This happen to othefs too?

avdbrandt wrote in post #17601669 (external link)
yep. same here, very strange, I have no idea why?

NebrGuy wrote in post #17601757 (external link)
That's odd. I just went back to flickr (not at home to look) and mine shows up as 150-600 in exif. I wonder why it does for some and not for others. I'm using the latest cloud version of LR and I suppose that could make a difference...maybe?

Immaculens wrote in post #17601824 (external link)
Mine has shown as the 100-400 since day one (over 2 months) ... its a forum gear exif glitch me thinks

Pekka has just updated POTN software, perhaps it was addressed

Poised for take-off... but no danger.

I don't think one member of the team actually saw the heron... I was fully expecting the heron to be spooked and I was gunna get a few flying shots

Anhinga
A bird of southern swamps, the Anhinga is known as the Water-Turkey for its swimming habits and broad tail, and also as the Snake-Bird for its habit of swimming with just its long head and neck sticking out of the water.

Nice capture, this bird might be family from the herons we have here.
Good to see a fellow fullframe birds shooter, I kept wondering if I was the only one chasing birds with a ff camera :-)

Finally got a buzzard this afternoon, he just sat for 1 second before he took off.
Today it was cloudy, and made my distant shots much better, this one was around 50 meters away from the car.

I have to admit I love this lens.
Went to the Killman Zoo in Caledonia, Ontario, Canada on Saturday. Here is the full photo and then a crop at 100%.
It has gone through Lightroom with defaults. I made adjustments because the lighting was very harsh so just did lighting adjustments. There is no clarity or any sharpening added and no noise reduction. These are with the Sigma C and my Nikon D810.
Taken at F/8 600mm ISO 720 1/640sec.

This is the full image reduced to 1200pix long
