Almost my first shots with the camera. A swallow, and two obligatory ducks.

DP,
Nice captures.
In the 2nd shot, the bird looks like the size of a flying dinosaur compared to the people in background.

Seems like you have it dialed in, how is it coming with the TC?
Lastly, which mode did you use for the head on tracking, and how was your keeper rate with the head on burst?

Guy

I still have to fine tune it with the over +-20 Dot Tune procedure. What do you mean by "head" tracking and "burst"? I'm thinking you mean head of the bird?

Instead of posting all of these shots here is a series of 10 in a row. I pushed the sharpening a bit just to see how consistent it was. I have maybe 20 or so sequences in various cases and AF modes.

Hopefully this works.

First shot with my 7D2 and Tamzooka worth posting. Caught this guy keeping watch over the neighborhood while I was washing the cars this evening. Glad he was patient enough to wait for me while I went inside and grabbed the camera!

My question was specifically about the head-on (coming at you) shot of the bird flying toward you sequence. I wanted to know how your tracking did across all the shots of that one burst.
