Sometimes it is the only thing that keeps old people going :p. I really appreciate the zone capabilities. I was surprised how well it did isolate and track the closest object. After shooting in single/expanded for so many years I had a blast in zone a few weeks ago. It was something new to try out.

I'm going to continue to goof around with zone, etc. If I need the money shot I will always go back to single/expanded.

That's the thing that intrigues me. that zone focus, and the key words here are " old people". Pushing 68 and I need all the help I can get.

I never shot the 7D1 but I'll bet that the metering and wb is much better on the mark 2.

Not sure. I think metering is pretty close. I think both are better than my 5D3.

From this morning's rainy walk, first time out in many days due to extreme heat, woke up today and it was 74F-

100-400ii and 7Dii are an incredible combo. Seems like they were engineered around each other.

Yes ,..Blue Heron's \...These guy's are out in a pond. I used the 100-400LII and the 1.4III and a crop lol and I jazzed them up a bit lol
