A certain batch of 7D Mark IIs had a focusing issue and mine appears to be one of them.

So, I had it calibrated 2x first was with the 1.0.0 firmware and the 2nd time was because I applied the 1.0.4 firmware.

Kindly check my RAWs and give your verdict.

I just looked at the first one. Sharpness is fine, to me. The DOF on that shot is super-thin! That (and $10,000) is why I don't own an 800mm lens!

The one I looked at was really sharp.
I'd be pleased with results like that.

They look sharp to me but I have found the the 7dmkii files will take a bit of sharpening in pp.
