1/1000, same as the other one, Its plenty sharp in LR, but if I had put my polarizer on, I think it would of helped.. Afternoon blazing glaring Florida sun, really wrong time to be shooting. I was working in the area, so I took advantage... Probably should not have posted, as I really wasn't happy with either

It is well worth posting Bianchi, I like it. I have had the same with snowy owls, kind of a glow that hides some details, don't know how to expose to avoid it in certain light situations. Good work!

Hi Ryan, thanks.

No HDR, single exposures only. I had no tripod or filters with me so I exposed for the clouds which made the foreground very dark so I used the Lightroom Neutral density tool from the bottom up rather then top down to bring out the rocks.

The second one only a polarizer used for the sky, then some clarity and vibrance applied.
