Here's a couple from the KPMG Women's PGA Championship earlier this month.

How do you get a camera into the women's events? Is this a practice round or do they let cameras into the women's events. Otherwise, can you apply to the PGA for a camera exemption?

No offense to the "pro's" but I have played golf for over 30 years, and even spent some time on a mini tour and played on a foreign tour in Japan.

If a photographer was standing in my ear while I was swinging and the sound of the shutter distracted me even 1 ounce... there is something else wrong that day and I am looking for someone to blame. I have been to events when Tiger went nuts on a photog for snapping in his swing, those are usually the days he is NOT at his best and just flat out frustrated.

But, by your own admission, you haven't played golf at the level of the pros.

You should know that it's a combination etiquette / focus thing -- when the majority of your round are taken in "silence", and in high pressure situations, then any noise can be enough of a distraction to alter the swing process and mindset. For some of them, that stroke could cost them thousands of dollars... for others, it could mean their livelihood (if they miss the cut and lose their tour card).

If they're prepared for noise during their swing, it's not a big deal -- the Phoenix Open is a great example. Otherwise, any unexpected noise can seem amplified.
