I have a 18-105 waiting for me when I get home that got delivered today. I struggled deciding which to get between the 16-70 and 18-105. I opted for the extra reach for my upcoming Disney Trip. I'll be contributing very soon with some 18-105 samples.

Canon 5D Mark IV / Canon EOS R / Canon 70-200L f/2.8 IS Mark II / Canon 24-70L f/2.8 Mark II / Canon 35L f/1.4 / Canon 135L f/2 / Canon 100L f/2.8 Macro / Canon 580 EX II / Canon Control Ring Mount Adapter

All with the 16-70. It's the only Sony lens I have at the moment. I've been really impressed with it. Adjusting for the crop it's 24-105, so lots of useful range and with the IS, the F4 is not as limiting as one might think.

Nice shot NChant. I really want to try this kind of shot. The only wide lens I have is the tokina 12-24mm/f4. Do you think this is enough or do I really need a faster lens.

Ravi NChant knows better but until he answer look at this:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com …m_e_14mm_f_2_8_ed_as.html (external link)
The F2.8 will be a big advantage over F4, not that you have to shoot at F2.8, most do shoot wide open or close
to it with Milky Way or wide field astro.
The Rokinons are all known to be sharp and for the most part coma free.
That said give what you've got a go and see how it goes :)

Sometimes I think about selling the a6000, because my 5D3 and the RX100III cover all the aspects I'm looking for from in my cameras (portability, versatility and quality). But I'll keep the camera for now, because I still get inspired by it.

Visited the falls over the weekend to see the fireworks. Both with 16-70mm which I bought at 40% off when Sony are closing all their stores here in Canada back in February. :

I had the a6000 with a 28-70 on me for any wide angle shots that may come up at the baseball game the other night. I was in the photo well behind home plate and decided to see what a shot from the set up would look like. I think the different prospective came out ok.

Here's an abstract I took with my a6000 and an old Canon FD 35mm f2.8 lens. 1/80 sec., f11, ISO400, with editing and enhancements done in Capture One 8.
I call this one 'Riveting Abstraction', LOL. That old Canon lens is one very sharp lens with great colour.
