Thank you, I take this thing everywhere! I hate to lug my D300 all over town or in my car, but I don't care if I beat this cheapy around! And its so light weight, especially with the 35mm 1.8 on it. Great combo!

I saw the 70-300 and knew immediately I could yield at least $275 for that, and the rest probably another $150. Well the 70-300 sold within 6 hours of posting it for $300 cash. And I still have the rest of the items to sell for another $150. I am enjoying hunting on craigslist for local deals =) Nikon D300 / Nikon D70 / Nikon 18-70 3.5-4.5 / Nikon 35mm f1.8G / Nikon 50mm f1.8G / Nikon 70-210 f4 AF / Yongnuo 468ii

I did some test shots and subject tracking on the 70-300 I had briefly on the D300 and it worked quite well in AF-C, selected point AF. If I did group area AF and AF-C it didn't know what to do. I stood in my upstairs window on a sunny day and did some panning shots of cars going by. Worked quite well. Hope you resolve your issues!
