This is a 3 or 4 (can't remember) exposure HDR using the new LR6 feature.

Is there any idea to get this 24-70 if I already own 17-40?
However, I have two 6D cameras.

I think it is way better than the 17-40, and the macro function is pretty useful as well.

I have both this lens and the 17-40, and they have different purposes. One is wide and the other is an image stabilized walk around zoom with macro. It's a great pair!

There you have a point :) do the macro mode do that I should sell my macro lens and earn money? I don't shoot macro so often so maybe I can shoot the macros with this instead of having a extra lens for macro?

Now I have owned my first 24-70 lens for 2 weeks. I use my 24-70 / 4L with a 6D and I'm very happy with that combination. The focal range covers many areas and the macro function is very good. The lens is very sharp throughout the image already at f5.6 and it's nice.

Earlier this week, I was to Gotland, a Swedish island and photographed some landscapes and here are some samples from there.
I got a very good price for this lens too. I got Canon Cashback for this lens and the total amount after that I bought it for 720 USD new :)
