Thank you, I take this thing everywhere! I hate to lug my D300 all over town or in my car, but I don't care if I beat this cheapy around! And its so light weight, especially with the 35mm 1.8 on it. Great combo!

Pagman will appreciate (or be jealous of) this deal on craigslist I just scored. $150 for a Nikon d60, 18-55 VR, 70-300mm VR, backpack case and accessories. I saw the 70-300 and knew immediately I could yield at least $275 for that, and the rest probably another $150. Well the 70-300 sold within 6 hours of posting it for $300 cash. And I still have the rest of the items to sell for another $150. I am enjoying hunting on craigslist for local deals =)

Blimey mate that is good, i'm pleased for you that you were able to get a return from them, i am still in a bit of a tussle with my d7100/70-300Vr as in mine AF-C just plain doesn't want to work as it should, i have to use AF-A all the time now for moving subjects.

Really? That is not too good to hear man. I did some test shots and subject tracking on the 70-300 I had briefly on the D300 and it worked quite well in AF-C, selected point AF. If I did group area AF and AF-C it didn't know what to do. I stood in my upstairs window on a sunny day and did some panning shots of cars going by. Worked quite well. Hope you resolve your issues!

Good luck!

Recently got a used D5200, and have been enjoying it with the 18-140mm lens. First Nikon DSLR I have ever owned.
