It will have been reused to build something else I would imagine. On the other side of Cirencester there is a small stretch of an old Roman wall left, but not much. Before any building work is done in Cirencester now, they have to have a group of archaeologists in to dig up the ground. The building you can see in one of the pictures has had several builds done on their land.
