I'm more of a lurker than a poster but I enjoy everyone else's photos. This one I'm kinda pleased with even though the prop blur was not what I wanted.

Agreed! Prop-blur-be-damned... That's some remarkable timing!

It's the age-old way to get a picture: f/8 (or, in this case f/5.6) and be there. You were there! Nice image.

So much has been written about problems with the 7D2, that I'm always expecting to see them. But I don't. Seems to be a really fine camera.

Thanks all, it was mostly being in the right place at the right time. I was not trying to set up the shot but sometimes it's better to be lucky than good!

Now I the we know your secret Jeff. You train them to pose and acclimate yo your presence from young pups. As they age, they just don't have any concern for you being near . Any day now I am expecting a macro of one of them. :p

Can you please comment on your battery life? For most of your still shots, I assume you aren't burst shooting very much. A bunch of us are getting only about 500 shots on full battery charge when we do not do burst shooting and with no info or image review on. Those that burst can get over 2000 shots. My camera came with the 1.04 firmware, others suspect it was the upgrade process.

This is awesome. I might consider +1/3 lightning of the Hobby.
Care to share the before and after?

Super Nice Gus, great effect. Yes I do train them to pose, lol. Truth is they are everything but poser's .. little devils make it as hard as possible,..so if you think they look static and posed Im doing my job lol.

On batt life,...I'm bad for holding the back button down...focusing all the time. I would say this camera is hard on the battery some what. but I've never used more than two in a day taking maybe 1800 images, I'm trying to cut back on the hammer down thing although if I see something going on I just don't let up until its done.
