I'm positively green all over, after what I paid for mine in NZ!!

And double welcome from me - another female in what seems to be a predominantly male group :-)

Thanks!

Camera arrived today. Didn't have time to really do anything but physically handle it due to having my grandson over this evening. I am coming up from a T4i. There be a little bit of a learning curve of where I need to go to change settings, but nothing too bad.

LOTS of great pics since I posted last.

A camera didn't make a great picture anymore than a typewriter wrote a great novel.

QUOTED IMAGE

Not many fireworks shots catch my attention without some foreground or other interest. This one sure does!! Nice job!

Competition is good more insight in creativity and composition. Love the different angles and playing with light. It is not easy to take a flower photo that gives a extra dimension to it.

We're in the middle of a very nasty storm, with lots of snow and sleet about - including snow in places we don't usually get it. Took the dog and camera out to Haumoana. Cape Kidnappers was just visible when I arrived:

I walked a short way along the beach until it started sleeting, and took this:

Turned around to go back to the car, as I was becoming very cold, and now can barely see the Cape - all in a matter of minutes.

Canon M5: A variety of Canon, Sigma, Tamron, Tokina, prime and zoom lenses, Samyang fisheye, 2 lovely Minolta MD, and just for fun a Helios 44-2 58m.
