Help with editing (waves)

Hey, sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I need some help with how to edit waves into this photo to make it more dramatic. Any advice or help would be great! I have PS and LR

This is a slightly edited photo as is, but is NOT the final edit prior to the waves.

The other two definitely look photoshopped, I just wanted to add waves, but I've already given the client the photo haha. The link is really funny though :P I've seen those before!
