And now the numbness is wearing off a bit and i can feel where the needle went in My personal choices and the reasons below, well done all
1st place Rafaels BBQ table -- it really has become useless for anything apart from firewood

2nd Place Teekays tree--- that looks like it landed too close to the house --was it yours?

3rd place the once useful mighty tractor, now reduced to an entertainment thing.

All the photos could have won ,the reason i didn't choose Spocos church is actually a compliment.I love old places like that and i actually think they become better and more interesting as they become part of the surroundings so in a weird way i don't see that as much as broken but more as a wonderful place.Where is it,reminds me of the Isle of Skye [I think]. Well done and thank you

Congrats to the podium crew! All beautiful shots!

Thanks for recognizing the beauty of the Irish landscape... it is simply full up of stone building ruins and they have become an integral part of the landscape itself. Building with natural stone, which the island has in abundance, leaves structures that last for millenia. I found all of it simply jawdropping, coming myself from a land where a manmade structure 250 years old is considered ancient.

Thanks Trumper, for the topic and for the judging duties. Great job!

Rafael's shot was my pick, too, and thanks for the #2 spot, Trumper. Spoco's church brought back memories for me, too, and I agree that ancient places like that evoke strong feelings that are far from "broken".

Good subject, so I'm surprised not more entries. I would have had no trouble finding broken objects in my house, garden or garage but with a scary and unusually powerful thunderstorm last week with winds over 100 kph. that uprooted trees and caused damage all over town, it was easier to just shoot that broken tree (which was in a park, not by my house, I'm glad to say).

Congrats Rafael and teekay. Excellent examples of broken. That table has probably provided many good times I'm sure.
And thanks for the third place, trumper. I found it harder than I thought to come up with something broken. But a very good theme. Thanks for hosting!

Wonderful shot of the old church, spoco. I understand where trumper was coming from. I love old buildings and ruins like your church. I think I could spend the rest of my life searching out places like that.

Beautiful images teekay, Raven, Spoco57. I agree with teekay, a nice theme with too few entries. Thank you Trumper for the first place, I really placed my photo below the other three, but you are the judge :)

The old table in my photo was made from a huge wooden spool used to transport heavy cooper wire and four 'legs' of stones that were part of columns of an old farm house of my brother-in-law. It was there for many years withstanding the rain after the new BBQ table nearby replaced it.

Thanks for all the flattering comments.

The new challenge is already posted.

Congrats to the winners & excuse my absence last week. Was away at a huge family reunion camping out in the mountains with no computers or Wi-Fi. It was great to get a break. :)

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.
