I used a bare 580EX II for these flower shots. I should have a couple of diffusers by Tuesday.

Did I mention I'm allergic to bee stings?

A few of a friend. He has a real talent as a rapper, so he needed a few pictures for covers etc..

All shot with the CV40 wide open. Used a canon 600ex-rt with diffusor for a few shots to give some fill light.

I really love that it looks like its been shot somewhere like LA. Switzerland is generally totally different

Nice shots, df! I think I need to find some Schweizerdeutsch rap on YouTube.. I bet that sounds very unique.

Some more testing of the R lenses today on the a7s.

went for a hike today, simple kit 14, 40, 100, since I knew I would have to carry the youngest up the cliff :-P

If I could have went during sunset, I would have, but tide tables showed low tide at 1pm

too crowded, too hot, too bright. I do love going to this place, will continue going.

You mean Leica R lenses?

Thanks!

Im pretty satisfied with what I got. Most of these shots were taken at around 10PM so the light was not that good when it got darker. But it worked out pretty well even thought i missed my A7S in certain situations :D

Hah, yes, I did manage to find some on YouTube actually. Perhaps I'm partial, but I think I prefer the English version, also.

Yes, Leica R lenses. I like the C/Y Zeiss setup I have (25/50/85), but with all the additional Zeiss lenses from Sony/Zeiss, and with the Batis line coming, I was actually getting a bit tired of their look. I wanted something with some different/unique characteristics (which was the original purpose that Zeiss served when I had mostly Canon EF lenses, at least for me), so I started picking up some R lenses.

85mm has quickly become one of my favorite FLs thanks to the Rokinon 85/1.4.
And 25 (24) has always been my go-to for WA.
That makes me want both Batis lenses in a bad way.

Having said that, I really enjoyed shooting AF with my 6D and Canon lens over the weekend (see SoCal thread for samples or check my Flickr). Kinda do miss shooting with that sometimes.

Sony A7RII and a bunch of lenses.
