BRAVO! Now THIS is what the 7D II thread needs more of. Please, don't ever hesitate to share more. Great images, crisp and clean edits!

Thanks. That was just my first time out with the 7DII last year. I've taken a lot of photos since then.

But I'm not going to bore all these great bird and wildlife shooters with my not so great sports shots.

Can't wait for preseason workouts to start for this coming football season. McNeese's first game will be at LSU in Death Valley. I will be on the sideline shooting it. I'll probably post some then.

^^^ I tell you what.. I first set my CASE to the one for soccer.. CASE 4?? and I had nothing but problems on my first usage... I then switched to CASE 2 and couldnt be happier. I told this to a guy at work who shoots 5dm3 and he said he had same results and he shoots his kids pics in CASE 2 also...

this past weekend I changed back to CASE 4 and it worked but what i did end up with was many shots where I would lock onto say goalie... and a player would walk near and it would switch to him...

I am trying to find the settings as I have seen videos of a player locked and people can walk in front and no change... still locked on first...

wonder if that is part of what you got going on...

Pondrader those foxes must be your family pets! You have some of the most compelling shots I have seen. I am constantly amazed at what you are able to do with foxes. Such good work.

Kester,

Your owls are great. The guy on the right looks skeptical... perhaps he is a cynic.

Jeff,

As I mentioned in another thread, this little guy is sooooo cute. I think it's cool you can get and keep their attention ("your" foxes and their kits) for your photographs.

Thanks Richard, That is a great compliment in that I am able to make it look like they really don't care I'm there,... because they are as wild as they come. thank you

Thanks Kim, foxes from what i have seen these past few years are very much like our at home pets,..They react very much like the Labs pup's I raised for 18 years as a reg kennel.

Yeah sure, the fox pays you to say that so you don't give them away to theIr non-modelimmg cousins of the wild variety. Pretty soon you are going to show the behind the screen shot with flash and all. :p

Ha, lol......... I don't use a flash for fur of feather's, I have never liked the way it looks. I just might hold a raffle and take someone with me sometime lol

I've been going over some of the stuff from the last while. I know I posted one like this back awhile ago but this one the kit is looking off to the side and Im not sure what I like better, straight at me of off to the side.
