I've been out of the loop for a bit. We went from cross processing, to the instagrammy-warm look, to film stock emulations, to now what? What are you guys doing now when you edit your photos? What does your "style" look like? Please post some examples!

I've never followed the "current" style because that wouldn't make my work unique, just another "copy". I stay w/ my style and tweak as needed, but never far from the look I like. The worst thing I could do is be like everyone else, I would hate that.

I shoot raw and process to my taste, in LR v5.7. I don't give a FFA what others think of my stuff. My wife takes my JPG output and seasons lightly with Picasa before printing at Walmart. I'm not sure if that is a style or not. It works for us.

Yellow faux-vintage look is gone; seems like the hazy/dreamy look is starting to go away, and the matte look is what's currently in. Not sure what's next.

I thought the yellow faux-vintage look was replaced by the faux-vintage yellow look, and now it's the hazy faux-yellow dreamy vintage look.

Selective coloring. It's time of fame and worship is due.

A transparent banded rainbow overlay seems to be quite the "in" thing lately :-)

Noble in theory, but impractical in reality.

I care what my models think; if they like my work then I get more and better models to work with.

And, I certainly care what my paying clients think. You want the whole photo in black and white except for the eyes to be in color? Sure, I can do that, but it's a specialized technique [read: i hate doing it] so there will be an additional charge.

When money enters in, - then, for a price, I become a liar, - and a good one I can be whether with pencil or subtle lighting or viewpoint. I hate it all, but so do I support not only my family, but my own work. - Edward Weston

I think the OP was more concerned with PP trends and what the latest 'look' was, more so than what specific PP you do for clients...I could be wrong though, I think it happened once before...:-D
