Shot a new series in May/June called Curb Appeal. Below are some of the images. It was just over 40 photo sessions resulting in 38 images in 28 days.

Also, thought it might fun to have a naming contest for the 2nd pic since I'm kinda stuck :). Let's see your creative best!

These are fantastic!

The challenges involved in setting up a camera then composing a shot, when you're in it, are beyond what I think most people appreciate.
You've done a great job of creating and capturing a mood, and feeling, and done it in several different locations.

How you also adding some light to these and then removing the light source with a background plate?

Ohlook, that's a fair bit better than what some of my friends have been suggesting. Lol, thanks. (Nice to see you)

Kindness,

Julian

That was a tough shoot, but yeah, definitely worth it. :)

Thanks. :)

Thank you for understanding, Moppie! Self portraits are the hardest work I've ever done in photography.

The light source is simply a 580exII or 600ex-rt outside of the frame.

Very nice, it's subtle enough that a photog can pick it out, but the vast majority of people won't ever no it was there.

What do you feel are the strongest images?

Looking back over them, I think you could drop the first 2, the light in them isn't as well balanced as the others.

Great series. Very demanding photos (dressing and changing, setup, self portrait etc.) show a profound dedication to photography. I am impressed, well done Julian!

My favorite is Carried away, and beyond.

Some simple photos
