Well at least that is what I call it (I made up the name for a fake genre so no one here could tell me I did it wrong)

Shot with three old 1KW fresnel stage lights a FF camera and 85mm lens. I usually use the 50mm for stuff like this but did not this time. This is not a stab at Hurrell, tried that before with limited success. More of a film noir pinup

Constructive C&C welcome.

I like it.

I personally would have done a much more dramatic main/fill ratio and perhaps more interesting background/kicker/rim ights, but that's just my style.

Both are nice images. One day maybe I'll be in that ballpark of quality. ;-)a

Would you per chance have one in between these two? The top one seems more "pin-up" than the second one, but to me seems like it would be even better with a bit more of a smile to it.

Thanks all. I do have more of these some in-between, but they have medium to small shadow errors that I probably will not take the time to process until my little part of the world freezes over again.

Agreed, it is one of the most natural smiles I've seen!

I like the second one also, since the first one did not come through for me to view.
