Wow, thanks for the heads-up. That's barely more expensive than used typically go for.

Edit: Just noticed it's Used, condition "E." Not sure if you realized that when you posted it. Still an acceptable deal for a used model from a trustworthy seller.

Ouch!!! I just purchased one through CPW for more than this. I sure hope there's some price protection with the company that I bought from being as I haven't even taken receipt of the lens yet (supposed to be here tomorrow).

-?

Canon sells the 135L refurbished for $799 when they have it in stock. I waited weeks for it to come in. The same day I ordered a new one, they went live with $800 refurbs. I managed to get one. Patience. And check a few times a day.

oops!!!! Me too!!!!!!

I should've known CPW had it together on the pricing. Looks like sometimes this weekend or the first of the week I can post a "glowing" review of my 135L. :-D

CPW Street Price is $869 after rebate...that's what I did. I'd pay the $70 premium for brand new from authorized retailer.

I can verify this, I've ordered two items in good condition and they looked practically brand new.
