This lens can do just about anything.
It is, by far, the sharpest lens I own, the focus is very fast and very precise (didn't have to micro-adjust it) and the bokeh is fantastic.
Furthermore, I find the build quality to be better than that of many Canon L lenses. It has a more solid feel than my 135L.
I need a ND filter though, I couldn't use it wide open in broad daylight.

Finally put the new lens to some use and did some family portraits at the house with our new baby girl.

Which looks better? Brighter or slightly darker?

I think the differences are so small that it really just depends on what screen you are viewing it from.

Anyone ever have their Sigma 35 Art not focus at all?

No auto focus, no manual focus. The range window doesn't even change and the focus ring seems to be harder to turn than normal. Odd thing was I just used this lens the other day (still mounted to my camera). No issues then and it's not been dropped, bumped, shaken or anything. The only thing I saw on the net here was someone said if it was in a hot room, they had a similar issue. It was in my car in the camera bag and it's 85*F outside so that is certainly possible.
Video of someone with a foucs issue: https://youtu.be/8TI1l9vStio (external link)

I will be contacting Sigma but they are closed for the weekend so was just trying to see if anyone experienced this before as well.

Thank you for any insight.

I've never heard of that sort of thing. certainly sounds like something has jammed in the focus mechanism
