This is defiantly not a little guy. It's hard to tell by the photos but I estimate him to be between 500-600 lbs.

Nice bear pic Spinner. The lush green and black colors work well together. These guys only seem to come around my place after dark. Good ones.:-)

 I kind of cheated a bit guys. I know this bear he was caught by the Pa. Game Commission last year and weighed in at 525 lbs. they transferred him elsewhere but he just keeps coming back here.

Nice shots, Spinner. I was up at Rickett's Glen last Friday, and a local came into the general store and said he had just seen "a big bear" down the road. I was tempted to go looking for it, but then thought otherwise. Would that be anywhere near you?

All I want is just a little more than I'll ever have.

Hey no problem thats how we all learn something new. THAT is one hefty bear but without any reference points its hard to say for sure what it would weigh. Taking a WAG at it I have to agree looks like a 600 pounder.
The Glen is east of me. I'm in Jefferson Co. Pa. above I-80

That's very true Ron, my shot is right out of hibernation, he was laying down and filling up on the grass to get things working again.
