Not been very active here for a while so thought it was about time I posted some work again. Lesser Redpoll have started becoming regular visitors to the feeders which is great to see. Here are a collection of shots from last weekend. C&C welcome, exif intact

Very nice; redpolls are something we see here in winter and, even then, not every winter.

Very nice shots. This species looks slightly different than the Common Redpoll and Hoary Redpoll we get on this side of the pond. I recently read that there is a move afoot to combine the Common and Hoary Redpoll into one species-I wonder if it will affect the Lesser Redpoll? Regardless of the name you have taken some great shots-well done.

I've read that too. Even heard a few years ago that some species from Europe could be combined with the two N. American species.

There will be days when you get the shot(s) you missed days, months or years before.

Smashing photos Kevin, seems a bit early for them to visit your feeders. Testimony perhaps to the awful weather we have had this year.

Beautiful captures, used to get them at the feeder with Siskins but they have been missing for a few years.
