What kind of modifier is used on that great light in the back? I really love how it makes rays of light.

That's probably the very special order RB93,000,000 (RB150,000,000 in metric countries). Bet the speedring gets hot though.

 ;-)a

Hmmm ..... gives a whole new meaning to the old phrase "hot lights".

Jesus: Joking aside, a stunning image and interesting video.

I bought the RB-120 w/ the Einstein mount but I'm also going to be using it w/ the Rovelight RL600 (bowen mount). Can I get by just buying the Bowen insert, this (external link) one, or do I need the actual Bowen speedring too?

You photo did not go through but for the Ricebowl you will need to order the actual Bowens Speedring offered by Cheetahstand. You have to mount the individual rods into the speeding, very simple and fast setup......

Happy Shooting:lol:

Darn, was hoping the insert would just fit in the speedring I already have. I guess I'll have to buy.

This is the one I found on their website. https://www.cheetahstand.com/product-p/rb-speedring.htm (external link)

What threw me off though is that it says "bowen/cheetah speed pro". Just want to make sure this is the right one to use w/ actual strobe (RL-600). I thought the cheetah speed pro were flash brackets. Sorry if this is may sound like a dumb question.

And yes, you are right, the setup/tear down couldn't be easier. Love mine so far.

the ricebowl can mount different rings sizes
their are 4 taped holes on the back
you will take the 7mm screws out of the front and mount them in the back of the speed ring to mount different size insert rings. You might have to get some washers to fit smaller then a 6" insert ring.
The picture below I change out the tap to 10mm and mounted thumb screws
