Nothing better than to take a quick dip in Grandma Sue's pool....

Mason will turn 6 this week and his cousin Justice will be in 6th grade this year...

Both are lovable...although Mason has Pitt Hopkins Syndrome, he still loves the water and to be outside!!!

Truly enjoy what the 135L has to offer!

You guys are making very compelling arguments for getting 135L. :-)

Really like this. Because you chose to focus on the man's hand it gives just a bit of separation from his emotion. (He may of course have been taking something out of his eye, but I don't think so.)

Thanks Annie, you're right real intention was to focus on hand.

Wife has offered to buy me a lens of my choice on our 25th wedding anniversary next week (in exchange for a similarly priced ring, of course!).

I am debating between this and the Zeiss Apo.

Any thoughts?

According to your gear list you have a 5D3 and the A7R, you could use the 135L on both...the 135L is hands down my favorite lens and has been for a couple of years now, my 2 cents.

I think it depends on how you (I would) plan to use it. I've had my 135L for a few weeks and really appreciate auto-focus. I don't do studio type work, and my 135L will double as a sports/athletic lens. Therefore, I (maybe you?) need auto-focus. If my eyes were a bit younger, or I worked mainly in staged/setup situations, the Zeiss would be very tempting. On the upside, your wife gets a much nicer ring if you buy the Zeiss. That has to be worth something.
