I only had one opportunity to visit this location while in Patagonia and I lucked out with this absolutely blazing sunset. I couldn't really have asked for more as this magical little waterfall was surrounded by fall colors with Fitz Roy, one of the most impressive mountain peaks in the world, looking down over it all.

Dave, Your Patagonia captures are all superb, but this one is particularly stunning.
Composition, color, clarity, splendor . . . everything about it. Breathtaking.
If you don’t mind me asking, were you in a tour group or on your own?
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks all!

Barry, I did a Patagonia photo workshop. However, I arrived a few days before the workshop started and I took this shot the night before I met up with the group. I'm glad I did because we didn't go to this location and it was probably the one shot I wanted to get more than any other when I was planning the trip.

Beautiful - the backdrop of those mountains and that sunset is a killer combination. Awesome job.

It's all in the details.

Good for you! That is certainly one of the most striking mountain photographs I've ever seen. Well done.

Niteclicks, I've heard the same about the fishing there. I don't fish so I missed out on that.
