Aug 04, 2015 12:32 | #939 I did the whole loop, so I walked both down and back up. Parked in Lake Rose Trailhead parking and went down the steepest section (west side) to Waters Meet, headed down to Murray Reynolds Falls, and then back up the east side toward Beachlot #2 Trailhead. Then I took the Highland Trail (or as Johnny Carson would have called it, "The Slauson Cutoff") back to Lake Rose parking lot. Altogether, I guess it was about 3 1/2 miles. All I want is just a little more than I'll ever have.
