treebound Senior Member More info | Aug 03, 2015 09:48 | #9292 There was a "blue moon" this weekend, good opportunity to snap a few once in a blue moon night shots with a nifty fifty. I had other obligations on Saturday, then hail and wind last night. Anyway, since I"m back in the queue, I'm thinking of what to take images of locally. But apparently I need to clean my camera's sensor first thanks to someone in another thread giving me a heads up about it. =====

joeseph "smells like turd" More info | Aug 04, 2015 04:31 | #9295 in other news, my main P.C. has died! tried a replacement PSU & look like the motherboard has failed so won't be editing/posting any pics at all until I've rebuilt something sometime after the bits start arriving tomorrow or Thursday... some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Just curious. No, it's a pm sent to Ron Bailey to urge him to send Nifty on to the next person on the list. Which he clearly didn't do yet. CameraMan Cream of the Crop More info Post edited over 8 years ago by CameraMan. | Aug 07, 2015 11:37 | #9300 When you do get it, there's an awesome abandoned church in Gary, IN. I posted a few when I was passing through going to Georgia and it was spectacular. Snowing but spectacular. There's also a post office near by that I didn't have time to visit. I was wanting to get ahead of the snow storm that was headed in my direction. This was from the third floor looking out the side window.IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/msoqc2 An incredible room and as you can see, it had no roof. The falling snow made it obvious. IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/msqkZu A stage inside the church.IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/msp1Ak One of the many rooms accessible in the church. Looks like a great place for a portrait shoot!IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/msubhq Photographer
