Here's a video I took of the A7rII with Continuous Eye Focus Tracking. Excuse the baby talk I had to do...needed to get a reaction out of her :-)

Lens is the FE 35 1.4

Here are some of the corresponding photos:

Colby Brown recommends what is given to him if he puts it on his blog you think?
I've had good luck with Patriot Fuel cells and I actually paid for mine :) They allow
pass through charging and have 1 amp ports and 2.5 amp ports.
But for timelapsers being able to power from a brick is fantastic news. Not new with Sony though,
I was charging while running with the RX100iii, the link is to a timelapse with the RX100iii if any are
bored-

Gene your macros are getting better and better. Love the last one...curses to you again for showing what the FE90 can do.

OK first video (1080) from the A7Rii, shot on yesterdays hike to the waterfall. Probably will be boring to most. It's 1:25 long-
https://www.youtube.com …wz14NiLE&feature=youtu.be (external link)

My next step is clean the contacts on the 35mm Art AND check firmware of the MBiv.

Is anyone else super pleased with the ISO of the A7Rii ???

Thanks. Great video you took but I'm surprised you didn't shoot it in 4K. :-) What editor did you use by the way? I've even had good luck using PS CC 2015.

Question, BIF shots with 400mm 5.6 how would the 5-axis IBS work (panning).

I have no idea....and really few flying birds in my area to test on.

Sigma 35 works fine
http://youtu.be/fXCnL_uzK3U (external link)

That vid makes me jealous! It did motivate me to do the firmware update which did NOT help Ha!
I even cleaned the contact on the 35 Art....but at least now I can use the lens in manual mode where
before the LCD would go blank when I released the shutter.

I'm still thinking a possible settings issue? In the video I couldn't tell which mode he was in.

Advaitin- semi success with the 135 F2. It's focusing per your suggestion, I wouldn't say fast though. Thanks.

Long exposure NR is off, high ISO was on at Normal.
I didn't know until I looked.

Here are some of my testing shots with various lenses:

Vin I think ISO 8000 will not be a challenge for this mk. II. That will be a huge boon to wildlife photographers IF Sony
gives us a native FE400.
