Welcome, IndiogoSkies!!! W always like newcomers but we seem to scare a lot of folks away. Maybe cuz we are too nice here, tee-hee=hee.

I did 3 month old twins today. They barely had any head control & bobbled all over the place, no eye contact, no smiles but I promised Mom that the next session at 6 months would be better. These 2 were born on my birthday & were pretty tiny so I think they are a little slow to catch up yet. Big brother was awesome!

Good morning ladies. :-)

We had three small pigs around the house yesterday morning and I managed to get one picture as I was heading out to work.

A little further down my drive, I captured this picture of a doe.

Let's see if I have figured out how to share a photo ... Here's a shot of my kiddo who is so unimpressed with my desire to practice, lol!

My oldest grandson will be 13 in 2 weeks & he won't let me take his picture either. That is why I grab all I can when they are little I guess. School starts tomorrow & I already hate that Aaron won't be here every day. Just from 3:30 to 5:00. And Tristan is in pre-school 3 days a week too so I guess Ella & I will have to find some mischief to get in to together. ;-)a

I'm sure you and Ella will find plenty of mischief to get into and I look forward to seeing the pictures that come from it, Maureen.
My son used to let me take his picture all the time but the only time I can get him to pose is if he's dressed up in full cammo and sporting his airsoft gear.

On Monday I took a road trip with the kiddos (niece and nephew). Twice a year the Spinrite Yarn Factory Outlet store has a giant, 12 day tent sale. The prices are insane. Considering how much it costs just to buy the yarn for one afghan, I decided to buy a bunch.

I invited my sister to go with me, but her husband needed help on a job, so she gave me the kids instead. We took Dads truck and headed out. Most of the time the kids just want to play on the iPod/iPad/iPhone or watch a movie. I don't like that, so I gave Austin a project. I handed him the Back Roads Atlas of Ontario, showed him the general direction we needed to go, and told him to navigate. I convinced him that taking random back roads can be very interesting. It wasn't long before we found this ancient steel bridge that has loose planks for the deck. It sounded incredible as we drove across it! And of course we had to stop and take a bunch of pictures. The drive definitely took longer, but the kids were actually interested in the trip.

At the sale, there was sooooo much to chose from! The best thing they had was huge skeins of yarn for $5 a piece. Plus buy 3 get 1 free. I spent $84.

Now, I just have to figure out what to make.
