Vermont

A photograph is worth a thousand words, but Photoshop can produce a thousand lies. Photo editing allowed. I need all the help I can get.

Without mountaineering, that is.

I'm more interested in things like windmills, dirt roads, waterfalls, churches, lighthouses, ponds, forests, streams, trains, trees, farms, ruins, marinas, boats, bridges, barns, etc.

not just nature sterile of human dwelling.

New York, Vermont, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine....each has most if not all of these elements, some have more of one element than another. Do a road trip, there's lots to photograph year round in New England.

I'm not sure how Michigan even remotely qualifies as New England, but I digress...

I just moved from California to Rhode Island for a few years and I can't wait to photograph New England! It's going to a be a great journey...
