AnnieMacD Oops, me again ![]() More info | Aug 17, 2015 17:36 | #3696 I rescued an injured moth (Northern Eggars which I named Lucy) over two weeks ago. Sadly, she didn't survive but laid 14 eggs before expiring. This morning there were at least 10 little caterpillars crawling around the container. Here's one of them. We were there end of July and didn't get but 1 good weather day. All of my pics of the midway and lower geyser basins are ho-hum due to wind ripples on the pools and very gray or white overcadt sky. Looks like you got a great day for seeing into the h2o and really nailed it, awesome stuff, will fav many over the next few days as I have a chance to look more. Thanks, JV! We got lucky. We spent about 10 days in GTNP and YNP and while there were some night drizzles, we only had rain hamper our daytime plans on one day. There were a couple of cloudy days and I had to move the visit to the geyser basins around those days to make sure I had bright midday sunshine to really make the colors pop. Sam
