Thanks Pag, while I was taking sunset pictures a GBH landed in a tree behind me, I put the 150-600 back on and got this shot.

I took my grandson fishing there the next night and just as it was getting dark about 10 GBH started landing in the trees all around us 1 or 2 at a time. Most amazing thing I've seen. Too dark for getting any shots and since I had apparently stumbled onto their rest haven, I probably wouldn't have tried anyway. We tried to sneak away as best we could.

Tell yeh what mate - there is nothing wrong with the 7d focus getting lock on's like this and what i am getting with mine, my hobby is aviation -bet you couldn't tell  anyway the other day i shot 165 airways shots of aircraft at roughly 5 miles up, and do you know i only got 2 that where out of focus because they were just to far away, that to me is Amazing:-D:-D:-D

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

A few of my favourite wildlife shots while sitting at anchor this week. Spent a couple of nights at our favourite spot on Pigeon Lake near Bobcaygeon Ontario and captured these. Still trying to nail the focus consistently using the 70-200 F4 non-IS.

Not much of a landscape guy but this sunset was pretty spectacular. Shot with my Tamron 17-50 that I haven't used much.

Nice shots on this page. The Peregrine is supposed to be fairly common, but haven't seen many in my travels, good job Peter!
