Yes that was the best, the fly then moved and the ant's wing kept flapping in the wind so no more stacks.

Is that because you are not finding them? I have to say away from Richmond Park I don't see many. The park is mainly thin Oak woodland with large open spaces, the grass kept short by deer. They like to keep watch resting on fencing on the edge of wooded areas. August is the best month.

Exactly that Toby, just never seem to find any around my local haunts. I do have a large wood which is only 5 minutes walk from my place so I'll give it a go and keep to the edges like you say.
