Congrats to Spoco & runners up. My personal favorite this week was Oh Look's entry. I was out of town for a few days & had to take mine Sunday night at the last minute. No flash, SS was 1/6 & I just rested the camera on the back of a chair.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Thank you!

I've found an easy way for me is to go to last week's challenge and hit the "Quote" button at the bottom of the host's first entry... the challenge itself. The box brings up the code for his or her challenge. Then I highlight and COPY that entire code and then back out.

That's basically what I did. It works only if last week's host got the format right, with the links and everything. Many hosts just copy last week's post without the codes.

PRONOUN ADVISORY: OhLook is a she. | A FEW CORRECT SPELLINGS: lens, aperture, amateur, hobbyist, per se, raccoon, whoa, more so (2 wds.), shoo-in | IMAGE EDITING OK

Starting a new thread, I just paste the copy (of the code) of last week's challenge into the new box and go about changing a few things.... the number, the title, erase the winner's announcement and enter my own challenge description. It just takes me a few minutes.

Cheers,
Steve

Yup, that's the way I do it, too. It's really quick and easy.

Congratulations Spoco57 very nice photo!
Thank you teekay for the second place. I have been all the week ready with the camera bag in my shoulder due to local volcanic alert, so I shot many 'paper' subjects while walking. As already stated above, very nice collection of images.

It is off topic, but I will share with you a couple images of the Cotopaxi volcano, 35 miles south of my home.
The roof of my own home is a very good place to see it, but I have only photos of the beginning:

Photos of yesterday were shared on Facebook (external link), but I do not have those impressive plumes yet ...

Congrats Spoco and Rafael. And thanks, teekay, for the third spot.
Excellent theme this week, teekay. Made for a variety of very nice entries.

Your translation is right on, teekay. A friend of mine decided to try his hand at origami. I think this was his 4th or 5th attempt.

I hope you remain downwind (oops, meant upwind vmad ) Rafael. I wasn't so fortunate when Mt. St. Helens (Washington State) erupted. Dealt with five to six inches of ash at one point.
